Guest Conversations
In these 60 minute events, Dr. Neff will be joined by a colleague whose work touches on self-compassion. These free-flowing conversations will focus on guests’ views of the importance of self-compassion in the work they do. In addition to conversations with well-known luminaries, we’ll also focus on special topics such as self-compassion for teens, clinical applications, parenting, and so on. Time will be reserved at the end of each conversation for questions from participants.

Mentor Sessions
These one hour group zoom sessions (held multiple times each week) will be led by an experienced self-compassion mentor.  It’s a precious opportunity to deepen your practice and connect with fellow community members. A book club will also be led by a mentor in which members will read and discuss selected books on self-compassion together. While these mentor sessions may be therapeutic, they are not therapy sessions but instead focus on building skills and resources. You can preview the full schedule here

Practice Toolkit
What do I need?
Self-compassion involves giving ourselves what we need in the moment to alleviate suffering. Sometimes we need acceptance, sometimes we need to take action. Â This toolkit will provide a variety of empirically-supported self-compassion practices to help you meet your needs with strength and warmth. Â
These newly recorded guided practices are targeted toward different types of struggle such as feeling inadequate, caregiver distress, coping with difficult emotions, the need to stand up for yourself, the need to relax, and more. Practices are of different lengths, including mini practices (3 minutes or less) that can be used on the spot in daily life! New practices will be added continually.
