Susan Pollak, Ed.D., is a psychologist in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a longtime practitioner of meditation and yoga. She was one of the first teachers of the Mindful Self-Compassion program and has adapted MSC practices to help parents.
As co-founder and teacher at the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion at Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Health Alliance, Susan served as president of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy from 2010 to 2020. She is the author of Self-Compassion for Parents: Nurture Your Child by Caring for Yourself.
Join us for a conversation as we explore how parents can use self-compassion to ease their own stress and help children prosper and thrive. When parents show up for themselves and their children in a supportive way, everyone benefits.
