Dan Harris is the best-selling author of 10% Happier and Meditation for Fidgety Skeptics.  He is also host of the popular podcast 10% Happier, and has had Kristin on as a guest several times. A former ABC News anchor, Dan developed an interest in mindfulness meditation after having a panic attack on-air.  While skeptical of self-compassion at first, he has since come to see the key role that self-compassion plays in wellbeing. He has a hilarious Ted talk called The Benefits of Not Being a Jerk to Yourself. Dan’s interests have expanded well beyond meditation to encompass all aspects of human flourishing, including work, fitness, relationships, sleep, and more.
