When we meet the human experience of loss, whether it is through the death of a loved one or the end of a close relationship, grief naturally arises. Many of us can feel immobilized by overwhelming sorrow, denial, guilt, shame, anger, rage, isolation, or despair, without knowing how to cope with this emotional load. Participants in this workshop will explore the complex journey of loss with “gentle grace”and self-kindness. You will discover how self-compassion can support you in navigating the rocky landscape of grief and all the other difficult emotions connected to loss. You will lean how self-compassion can be your anchor through grief, offering comfort when you need it most.
Who can benefit from this workshop? Mental health professionals as well as anyone struggling with grief personally.
CE Credits will probably be available for live attendance to this workshop. Details to be determined.
