Susan Kaiser Greenland is a mindfulness educator and bestselling author known for translating global wisdom traditions into practical everyday practices. In the early 2000s, she pioneered the introduction of secular mindfulness in classrooms with her Inner Kids model which has been shown to help kids manage stress. She wrote The Mindful Child and Mindful Games, creating dozens of fun activities that parents can do with their children to help them learn mindfulness and compassion. You can watch her TedX talk about teaching the ABC's of Attention, Balance, and Compassion here. Her latest book, Real World Enlightenment, offers powerful tools for adult seekers, drawing on her experiences as an educator to provide strategies for navigating the pressures of contemporary life while fostering meaningful connections.
Join us for a conversation as we explore the role of self-compassion in Susan's personal life and work, including the activities that parents and caregivers can use to build skills of mindfulness and compassion in their children and themselves.
