Russell Kolts, PhD has gained international recognition for his research on compassion-based therapy, which is a way to help clients develop self-compassion even when they feel they don’t deserve it. Â His research also focuses on how to use self-compassion to work with anger and other intense human emotions. See his TedX talk on Anger, Compassion, and What It Means To Be Strong here. Â He is the author of The Compassionate Mind Approach to Managing Your Anger, The Anger Workbook, and CFT Made Simple.
