Sharon Salzberg is a meditation pioneer, world-renowned teacher, and New York Times bestselling author. A trailblazer in bringing lovingkindness meditation to popular culture, she has inspired generations of meditation teachers and wellness influencers over the past fifty years to be more self-compassionate. As a co-founder of The Insight Meditation Society in Barre, MA, Sharon has authored thirteen books, including the bestselling Real Happiness and her seminal work, Lovingkindness.

In 2023, she released two new books: Real Life and Finding Your Way. Sharon’s popular podcast, The Metta Hour, has garnered seven million downloads, featuring interviews with thought leaders (including Kristin) from the mindfulness and self-compassion movement.
