Event Description

Russell Kolts, PhD has gained international recognition for his research on compassion-based therapy, which is a way to help clients develop self-compassion even when they feel they don’t deserve it.  His research also focuses on how to use self-compassion to work with anger and other intense human emotions. See his TedX talk on Anger, Compassion, and What It Means To Be Strong here.  He is the author of The Compassionate Mind Approach to Managing Your Anger, The Anger Workbook, and CFT Made Simple.

Join us for a conversation with Russell about Compassion Focused Therapy and also his work on how compassion for self and others can transform our relationship to anger and help us live a more fulfilling life.
