When most people think of self-compassion, they consider the tender, nurturing aspect of this mindset that allows us to be with our pain and accept ourselves in a supportive way. But self-compassion can be fierce as well as tender. Fierce self-compassion involves taking action in the world to protect, provide, and motivate ourselves to alleviate suffering. It means saying “no” to others who are hurting us – drawing our boundaries firmly. It helps us to take a firm stance against injustice or unfairness without dehumanizing others. This workshop will focus on the fierce aspect of self-compassion through lecture and experiential exercises. By learning to balance fierce and tender self-compassion, you can begin to speak up, draw boundaries, and stand up for yourself with greater confidence. The workshop is most relevant for those who already have some experience and knowledge of self-compassion. CE Credits are available for live attendance at this workshop. See below for details.

"You don't need a corner office or a title to be a leader. If you're a parent guiding your children, a teacher shaping young minds, a colleague mentoring someone new, or even just someone trying to lead yourself through life's challenges - you're already leading.
This workshop is for anyone who guides others, formally or informally. Learn research-backed self-compassion practices that help you show up with both high standards and genuine care, navigate tough conversations with confidence, and create the kind of environment where people feel safe to grow and take risks.
In this three-hour online workshop, you'll discover how the way you treat yourself directly impacts everyone around you. When you replace harsh self-criticism with skillful self-compassion, you model a different way of being that ripples out to transform relationships, teams, classrooms, and families.
Led by Amy Noelle, this workshop creates a safe space to explore how your inner dialogue shapes your outer leadership, and how a little kindness toward yourself can unlock more authentic and effective guidance - no matter where you sit on the org chart."
