Lisa Baylis is a certified MSC teacher, high school counselor, and mother. She is also the author of Self-Compassion for Educators: Mindful Practices to Awaken Wellbeing and Grow Your Resilience. She created the Courageous Compassion for Educators program, a six-week online course that helps educators create a culture of compassion, awareness, and presence in the classroom. Teachers experience high rates of stress, burnout, and turnover. Lisa helps them use self-compassion to be resilient while modeling the skill of self-compassion for students.
Join us for a conversation as we explore how self-compassion can help teachers do their essential work in the world with the resource of self-compassion. This supportive mindset not only enhances educators’ well-being and reduces burnout, it reconnects them to their core values and helps restore the joy of teaching.
Members will be able to RSVP for this live Zoom event starting on February 07, 2025.
This special event is open to anybody who has received an invitation code from the guest speaker (enter it below) and all members of the Self-Compassion Community (when logged in).
