Event Description

Scott Shigeoka is a fellow at UC Berkeley’s Greater Good Science Center and the author of the award-winning bestseller SEEK: How Curiosity Can Transform Your Life and Change the World. His work focuses on how to help people become more curious.  Curiosity about other people’s experiences and viewpoints helps bridge differences and create connections. It’s essential to developing the sense of common humanity that lies at the foundation of self-compassion. He has shared his insights on the importance of curiosity to audiences worldwide, including on the Today Show.

Join us for a conversation as we explore Scott’s transformative work on the power of curiosity and the role that self-compassion plays in opening our hearts and minds.
