Jud Brewer, MD, PhD (“Dr. Jud”), is a New York Times bestselling author and leading expert on habit change and the science of self-mastery. With over 20 years of experience combining mindfulness practice and scientific research, he explores how our brains shape behavior and how we can use that understanding to create lasting change and reduce suffering. Dr. Jud is the director of research and innovation at Brown University’s Mindfulness Center and serves as a professor of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the School of Public Health and Psychiatry at the School of Medicine.
