Chris Germer, PhD is a a clinical psychologist and part-time lecturer on psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Chris and I co-developed the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program in 2010, which has since reached over 250,000 people worldwide. He is the co-author of The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook and Teaching the Mindful Self-Compassion Program, as well as the author of The Mindful Path to Self-Compassion and co-editor of Mindfulness and Psychotherapy and Wisdom and Compassion in Psychotherapy. Chris leads workshops globally on mindfulness and self-compassion and maintains a small online practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
