Karen Bluth‘s work focuses on the role that self-compassion and mindfulness play in promoting well-being in youth. She is the world’s leading researcher into self-compassion and adolescence, examining how self-compassion builds resilience and strengthens positive mental health in youth. She is co-creator of the Mindful Self-Compassion for Teens program, and the author of several books including The Self-Compassion Workbook for Teens: Mindfulness and Compassion Skills to Overcome Self-Criticism and Embrace Who You Are.
