She is the author of Befriending Your Body: A Self-Compassionate Approach to Freeing Yourself from Disordered Eating. She developed the Befriending Your Body Program, a trauma-informed course that teaches skills of embodiment and self-compassion to heal disordered eating patterns. Her work also focuses on body forgiveness and healing body image disturbance.
